IVETA ANNUAL CONFERENCE - AUSTRALIA 2013
14 - 16 AUGUST 2013
As reported in the recent Hotline, the IVETA Annual Conference for the year 2013 will be hosted in Melbourne, Australia, by VETnetwork Australia. With the theme "Global Learning - expanding the boundaries of e-learning in the Global Community," it is scheduled to be held the 14th - 16th of August 2013. Papers proposal abstracts were due by February 28th.

One is the gala dinner on the evening of the 14th (sessions begin that morning). The gala dinner costs $125 (Australian Dollars). The tours on Friday, August 16th costs vary. Click on Overview and then Tours on the pull down menu. The cost of the tours is over and above the registration fee of $500 (Australian Dollars) for IVETA members. You must sign up for these when you register.

The IVETA Annual Conference, which included the annual IVETA membership meeting, was held in conjunction with the ACTE Convention, in Atlanta from November 29 to December 1, 2012. The theme of this years IVETA Annual Conference was: “Using Labor Market Information to Improve Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Programs: Matching Supply and Demand”.
